Applications for the 2022-2023 Indigenous Programs partnership year with Right To Play are OPEN between May 2nd – May 30th, 2022!

Right To Play is thrilled to announce the launch of our applications for the 2022 – 2023 program year! The PLAY program partners with First Nation, Métis, Inuit communities and/or urban organizations in Canada to support outcomes-based youth programming, including:

  • Training & support for local youth workers
  • Youth leadership opportunities
  • Sport & recreation activities
  • After school and summer camp programming
  • Intergenerational activities (where children, youth, parents and grandparents play together)
  • Funding to hire a local youth worker and funding to facilitate a yearlong program

Application Overview

The application will be an online form and should take between 1 – 1.5 hours to complete. You will be able to save and return to your application by clicking ‘Save and Resume’ located at the bottom of the form, inputting your email, and hitting ‘send’. Financial information, two letters of support, and signature from a Supervisor or are all required to complete the application submission.

Please note that when you ‘Save and Resume’, attachments will NOT save. Do not upload attachments until you are ready to submit the completed application.

Who Can Apply

  • Communities who are current partners can apply to renew your partnership with Right To Play for the upcoming extended 16-month partnership year (Sept 2022 to Dec 2023).
  • Communities who would like to apply to start a partnership with Right To Play.

Submission Deadline
The application, signatures and letters of support are due Monday, May 30, 2022. Selection and decisions will be made July 2022. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application.
