#PROFICares Cause Marketing Supports COVID Relief Fund for Right To Play Indigenous Youth Programming
It comes as no surprise that a company born of a father’s love for his daughter’s health is built upon a commitment to and duty of care for the well-being of others. That’s Profi Pro Inc, proudly Canadian producers of Profi, the “complete, plant-based protein powder choice for active individuals”.
This past June and July, Profi Pro joined our Play it Forward Virtual Challenge—a campaign to engage our network of partners and supporters in safe, socially distanced activities while raising funds to support the COVID relief efforts of our Promoting Life-skills in Aboriginal Youth (PLAY) program. For their part, the team at Profi not only encouraged its staff and online community to get involved, but also embarked on a cause marketing campaign to engage its consumers in the cause. As a part of its #PROFICares initiative to support local and national charities focused on promoting health and wellness in the community, from June 1, 2020 to July 31, 2020, the company donated $3 to Right To Play from every jug of Profi protein powder sold on its website.
“Right To Play shares similar values with Profi by supporting communities across Canada and encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle,” says Ryan Crelinsten, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Profi. “By donating to Right To Play Canada, especially during this challenging time, Profi hopes to help Canadian Indigenous communities get better access and more opportunities to receive the proper mental health programs and healthcare that are needed.”
In just two months, this Brampton, Ontario-based company raised nearly $1,000 through digital cause marketing—enough to provide an entire year of PLAY programming to an Indigenous youth in Canada.
“[We are a] company that is dedicated to helping communities across Canada through every jug sold on our website,” says Ryan. “Every purchase makes a difference in someone else’s life.”
Not only is Profi protein transforming people’s health and well-being, the company’s corporate conscience ensures its products have an impact well beyond the consumer’s home.
It’s just one example of how Right To Play and our corporate partners can work together to change young lives in Canada and around the world through a “healthy” mix of business and play.
