Rob Sainsbury is Managing Director & Head of Telecommunications, Media, Technology and Health Care, Investment Banking, for Scotiabank. Rob works with Canadian and international companies on equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and related advisory mandates. He has over 20 years of Corporate & Investment Banking experience. Rob holds a BA from Queen’s University and an IMBA from the Schulich School of Business. He is a CFA Charterholder and is fluent in Spanish.
Rob is a former member of St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation Leadership Committee and its President’s Council, and has sat on the Board of Directors of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation since 2015. Rob co-chaired Right To Play’s Heroes Gala 2024, and now sits on Right To Play’s Canadian Advisory Board.
