Abeed Ramji

Abeed is Head of Canadian Debt Capital Markets at TD Securities, and has over 16 years of capital markets experience, including more than a decade at TD. Abeed is actively involved in diversity, mentorship and recruiting councils at TD and dedicates his time to help young talent at the organization grow into highly capable leaders. In addition to his professional achievements, Abeed spent a year volunteering with the Aga Khan Agency for Microfinance in Tajikistan, contributing to empowering underserved communities.
Abeed has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) in Finance from McGill University. Abeed has been involved with the Aga Khan Foundation and Childhood Cancer Canada, and was recruited to the Right To Play Canadian Advisory board in 2025.
Abeed is from Tanzania and speaks multiple languages, including Swahili. Outside of work, Abeed cherishes family adventures with his wife and 4-year old son, who keep life exciting and full of joy.
