Applications for the 2025 Indigenous Programs partnership year with Right To Play are OPEN between August 19 – September 29, 2024!
Right To Play, Indigenous Programs is thrilled to announce the launch of our 2025 partnership applications! This year we have diversified our partnership options to provide applicants with more choices and opportunities for customization. It is our hope that every applicant walks away from the application process with the feeling that their selection for a 2025 partnership meets the specific needs and goals set by the members of their community.
Program Development Partnership - Co-design a play-based program for children & youth that meets community needs & contributes toward community goals for holistic wellbeing. Includes funding option for salary & program activities/materials. Click here for more information.
Program Enhancement Partnership - Enhance the impact of an established child & youth program by selecting a specific focus area for coaching & deciding on the frequency of support. Includes funding option for salary & program activities/materials. Click here for more information.
Team Training Partnership - Customize 2-4 of Right To play’s most popular workshops for team building and skill development. No direct funding component. Click here for more information.
Youth Project Partnership - Design & deliver a short-term play-based Project to improve the wellbeing of children & youth. Includes funding for project activities and materials. Click here for more information
WHO CAN APPLY
Eligible groups include:
- First Nation, Inuit, Metis communities
- Registered non-profit organizations/charities that serve Indigenous children & youth
- Youth councils or advisory boards who are mentored by an adult employee of a First Nation, Inuit, Metis community, registered non-profit organization/charity serving Indigenous children & youth
Ineligible groups include:
- Individuals
- Organizations/charities operating outside of Canada
- Unincorporated and grassroots groups without a trustee from a registered Indigenous community or non-profit organization / charity
PREPARING TO APPLY
Applications should take between 1.5 - 2 hours to complete. Several of the 2025 partnership options ask applicants to upload supporting material to their application submission, such as a budget plan, sample program calendar, and/or work plan. We suggest reading through the entire application before drafting answers and/or composing support material.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE
Applications are due 11:59PM Sunday, September 29, 2024. Partnership selection will be shared in early November 2024. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application.
