To mark National Indigenous Peoples Day, Right To Play invites you to a discussion on advancing Reconciliation and building agency and capacity among Indigenous children and youth across Canada through the power of play.

The focus of this interactive discussion will be to create a welcoming place for participants to explore our shared Canadian history, examine the meaning of Reconciliation, and their respective roles to play. Join us in this hour-long webinar and to explore how your values and beliefs align with Reconciliation.

You'll have a chance to hear from a group of Indigenous and non-Indigenous staff members at Right To Play Canada including:

  • Rachel Mishenene, Executive Director, Indigenous Programs, Canada
  • Laura McPhie, Training Manager, Indigenous Programs
  • Liz Lecky, Program Officer, Indigenous Programs
  • Susan Vardon, National Director, Canadian National Office

This webinar is intended for any resident of Canada including Indigenous or non-Indigenous leaders, change-makers, and allies who have an interest in learning more about our history, including how we can do our part to advance Reconciliation together and how Right To Play works in partnership with Indigenous communities across Canada. All participants will have an opportunity to ask the panel questions related to topics of discussion.

We hope you can join us!
