Kevin Frey is the CEO of Right To Play International. He oversees the global operations of the organization, while also guiding Right To Play's long term strategic direction.

Kevin joined Right To Play from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management where he served as Managing Director of its flagship MBA program. Kevin has also held roles including Chief Business Development Officer and Director, Business Development and International Programs at the University of Toronto.

In addition to his work at the University, Kevin is Founder and Chairman of Teach Away Inc., one of the world's largest international teaching recruitment firms. Teach Away Inc. has governmental and private sector clients in more than 40 countries and has been recognized in multiple rankings by Profit magazine as one of Canada's fastest growing companies. Kevin is also co-founder of two e-learning companies, Skooli and LearnKit.com.

Kevin has an undergraduate degree with High Distinction from the University of Toronto, an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and Schulich School of Business, and is in the final stages of completing his Doctorate in Business Administration at IE Business School in Madrid.  Kevin played on the University of Toronto's varsity basketball team and is a nationally-certified "Train to Train" basketball coach. He lives in Toronto, Canada with his wife and three children.​​​

Rob MacLellan

Chairman of Northleaf Capital Partners
Board Member since 2009


Rob MacLellan is currently the non-executive Chair of Northleaf Capital Partners, Chair of Yellow Media Limited , and a member of the Board of T Rowe Price. Previously he was Chief Investment Officer of TD Bank Financial Group. Mr. MacLellan holds an M.B.A. from Harvard University and is a Chartered Accountant.

 

Johann Koss, C.M.,

Board Member since inception 

Johann Koss is the founder of Right To Play and a four-time Olympic gold medalist in speed skating. Mr. Koss holds an undergraduate  degree in medical training from the University of Queensland, an executive MBA from the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, Doctor of Laws Honorary Degrees from Brock University and the University of Calgary, and an Honorary Doctorate from the Vrje Universiteit Brussel, in Belgium.

Matt Tedford, Treasurer

Board Member since 2015

Matt Tedford is the Canadian and Americas Managing Partner for KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a MBA from the University of Toronto.

 

Gaby A. Abdelnour

Gaby Abdelnour served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for JPMorgan, Asia Pacific from 2006-2012. In 2013, he was a Senior Advisor to Bain Capital LLC. Mr. Abdelnour also serves on other advisory boards.

Karen Conway has been a member of our UK Board since 2011, leading the UK Big Red Ball and the Global Women's Network. A graduate of Brown University and NYU School of Law, Karen practiced intellectual property and antitrust law in New York and London, most recently at Covington & Burling and Microsoft Corp. She is a member of the Brown Alumni Association Board of Governors.

Paula A. Sneed is the CEO of Phelps Prescott Group LLC. For over 29 years, she held marketing, general management and senior executive roles at General Foods and Kraft Foods, including Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President. She is a director of Airgas, Inc., Charles Schwab Corporation, and Teach For America. Paula earned a BA from Simmons College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Wilco Jiskoot was a member of the Managing Board of ABN AMRO Bank for 12 years, serving as Vice Chairman in his last year. Mr. Jiskoot held various Senior and Vice Presidential positions within the bank. He has since started his own company, providing advice to investment companies.

Mark Jung
Senior Advisor, ABRY Partners

Mark Jung is a Senior Advisor at ABRY Partners, where he provides strategic, operational, and leadership advice to portfolio companies in the enterprise software, SaaS, and internet sectors. Formerly CEO of IGN Entertainment and COO of Fox Interactive Media, Mr. Jung has an MBA from Stanford Business School and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University.

Meera H. Sanyal

Meera, the former CEO and Chairperson of RBS India serves as a Board member for: Hilary Clinton’s International Council on Women's Business Leadership; PRADAN, the not for profit empowering women in India; Liberals India for Good Governance and the Supervisory Board of Jaihind College. She is on the National Policy Committee for the AAP Party. Meera completed her MBA at INSEAD, France and the Advanced Management Program from Harvard. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (UK).

Dag Skattum

Dag Skattum recently joined J.P. Morgan as a Vice Chairman with a focus on Global Advisory. Prior roles include: Partner at TPG, London and Acting Co-head of Global Mergers & Acquisitions, JP Morgan. Mr. Skattum holds a Bachelor of Arts from Allegheny College and is on the board of Trustees, and an MBA from the Simon School. He serves on the UAMS Myeloma Institute Advisory Board.

 

Mehrdad Noorani

Mehrdad Noorani was a Founding Partner of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) and is currently serving as one of its Senior Advisors. Prior to the formation of GIP in 2006, Mehrdad was head of Airport Finance and General Electric Commercial Aviation. Before joining GE in 2003, he was Managing Director at Credit Suisse. Mehrdad holds an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business and is a graduate of the University of Colorado.​​
